Abrasive blasting is a surface controlled cleaning system technique performed by means of a high pressure jet of sand or other abrasive materials for the removal of the surfaces top layer without any damage. This method enables to scrape off the damages caused by the time erosion and restore the surface original state, preparing it to a new coating system application.
As a result, this technique is one of the most favored to be used for the painting preparation. The sandblast process has two important purposes: it enables an accurate surface cleaning and it restores the surface coarseness to guarantee the optimal adherence during the next treatments.
The sandblast treatment can be carried out in open spaces or in dedicated cabinets. Thanks to this, we can offer to our customer to possibility to operate also in exterior working sites.
